Our History
DraftPros was founded in 1998 making its way into the industry as an independent contractors offering engineering services. Today, with its high standards in quality and safety, DraftPros is one of the most successful construction and engineering firms in its field.
2010 was DraftPros' year of expansion, as the company extended its operations to serve the Texas, California and Mid-Atlantic markets as a tier 2 contractor for the Verizon- Fios Project. Later that year, DraftPros worked on the Comcast communications' 5,000-miles-of-plant-design project to upgrade their OSP in South Florida, increasing their strength from 550Mhz to 1 Gb. Finally, DraftPros landed a contract with FP&L Fibernet to develop and design their fiber optic network within the State of Florida, providing services such as fiber to the cell site, to the substation and to the business / commercial buildings and making them FP&L Fibernet's prime engineering contractor.
Growth continued in 2014 as DraftPros expanded its services to the wireless industry, designing small cell sites for Verizon Communications in the Illinois Market and assisting with real estate and site acquisition services as well as engineering services for 150 small cell sites within and around the Chicago area.
Finally, in 2015, DraftPros decided to venture into the construction side of the business, providing in-house turnkey construction solutions to AT&T and Verizon. This initiative catapulted DraftPros into becoming the preferred full circle construction and engineering service provider it is today.
